The Carolina Surf Casters Association announces their full competition schedule for 2026… what will prove to be an historic year for American surf casting. Cast head-to-head with world-class athletes, long-time friends, and your fellow surf fishermen from around the East Coast. Whether you’re gunning for a US casting record or just looking for some practice to put baits out a little farther, all are welcome at these family-friendly contests.

What to Bring

Your favorite conventional or spinning reels filled with high-visibility regulation monofilament and shock leader, strapped to a 10’+ rod capable of casting at least 4 oz. Also, consider bringing sunblock, chairs, canopy or umbrella, and other items for your comfort.


What is Provided

Snacks, bottled water, regulation clips and tournament sinkers. Extra monofilament shock leader and 0.37 mm running line can be provided for a nominal fee as determined by event management.

Guests: $25/day
Members: $15/day


USA Surf Casting Team Qualifying Events


CSCA competitions, as well as designated competitions held by other US surf casting clubs, serve as qualifying events to potentially join USAngling’s USA Surf Casting Team and compete for America in an upcoming FIPS-Mer Long Distance Casting World Championships.
